Held each year in May, Kids to Parks Day is a nationwide celebration of the great outdoors organized by National Park Trust (NPT) and is designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands.

Celebration of Trees

The City of Fayetteville invites citizens to help maintain and grow our community's urban forest by taking home a FREE tree and/or shrub during the annual Celebration of Trees. Fayetteville Parks and Recreation staff and the City of Fayetteville Urban Forestry Advisory Board host this local celebration of Arbor Day on a Saturday morning in late October.
